Pointewest Honda was started in 1981 originally operating as Yellowhead Honda by Peter Yachimec. It is located at 10220 184 Street in the West End of Edmonton, just a short distance from West Edmonton Mall. Pointewest Honda is the largest selling Honda dealership in Edmonton. Lynda Yachimec, daughter of the founder, acquired the dealership from her father Peter.
